The actor was most recognized as Dr. Frank-N-Furter-- playing him first in the stage musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1973, before it was turned into a feature film that went on to be a cult hit for decades. Curry, who suffered a stroke in 2012 that put him in a wheelchair, died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles.
