Mumbai, Aug 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) Zaid Darbar celebrated his better half, Gauahar Khan's, birthday on Sunday with some beautiful flowers and a lovely cake-cutting ceremony.
Zaid uploaded some glimpses of the sweet birthday celebration on his official Instagram handle.
In one of the photos, Zaid was seen presenting Gauahar with a rose. A video shared in the post had Gauahar cutting her birthday cake surrounded by a sea of flowers. The 'Bigg Boss 7' winner also fed the cake to her husband as she celebrated her special day.
Wishing his wife on her birthday, Zaid wrote on the photo-sharing app, "Happy birthday, wifey! Life with you is a little crazy... but a lot of fun, and somehow I’m still the lucky one (sic)."
Expressing her gratitude to Zaid for a lovely birthday surprise, Gauahar commented, "What a set up !!! Good job Jaanu . Allahumma baarik."
Reacting to Zaid's birthday post, she added another comment saying, "Wow rhyme !!!!"
Talking about their love story, Gauahar and Zaid got married on December 25, 2020, in a grand nikah ceremony.
The couple has been blessed with two sons — Zehaan and Farwaan.
Last December, during their appearance on the celebrity talk show 'Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak', Gauahar revealed that she was done with men before meeting Zaid.
As actress Rashami Desai asked Gauahar if she had any preferences for the kind of man she wanted to marry, Gauhar replied, “I had no such thing. In fact, when I met Zaid, I was completely averse to men. I was like, "I don't want to meet men, they are all commitment phobic. They all want to run away." I was ready to be vulnerable in a relationship, and most men were not."
The 'Ishaqzaade' actress added that she was going through a phase of her life where she had left everything to God.
"I said a prayer, please send me any good man, if it is meant for me, I will take it from you, and believe you me, uske ek mahine baad hi we bumped into each other, and he was the one who messaged me," she added.
