Yash on Kiara Advani’s role in ‘Toxic’: ‘India will fall in love with her again’

Mumbai, Aug 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) South superstar Yash has heaped praise on his ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ co-star Kiara Advani.

Yash stated that Kiara’s portrayal of Nadia will leave audiences impressed and make India “fall in love with her again.” The ‘Kabir Singh’ actress recently attended the grand pre-release event of Toxic in Hyderabad, where she drew considerable attention amid the massive gathering. During the event, Yash praised her performance and described her as “an amazing actor” and “an amazing co-star.”

Speaking about Kiara, the ‘K.G.F: Chapter 1’ actor said, “What an amazing actor, what an amazing co-star! She is somebody who is very simple, very pure, and a fantastic actor. But whatever you have seen, Kiara, till today, I think from the 26th onwards, you’re going to witness something much more than that. India will fall in love with her again and also at another level. Thank you so much, Kiara, for being a part of this.”

Kiara Advani takes on the complex and intense character of Nadia in Geetu Mohandas’s upcoming action-thriller “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” which is slated to release on August 26, 2026. Marking her Kannada film debut, the role sees the actress explore a wide emotional spectrum while also taking on demanding action sequences.

Kiara Advani has previously opened up about her experience of working on Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, describing the film as a project that pushed her beyond her comfort zone and encouraged her to embrace the unfamiliar.

In a recent Instagram post, the ‘Shershaah’ actress shared a behind-the-scenes video from the making of the film and reflected on how the creative vision and collective talent behind the project came together. She wrote, “A fairy tale isn’t just what this film is. It’s also what making it was. One string of thought, talent from everywhere, each doing right by their craft, avalanching into TOXIC. “Peculiar Alchemy,” as our director calls it.”

“Films have a beautiful way of making us step into worlds we’ve never known, sometimes quite literally. Every new character, every new set, every crazy challenge teaches you something you didn’t know you were capable of.”

Kiara added, “This one taught me to be comfortable with the unfamiliar, to stay curious, to keep learning and to find joy in the adventure of it all. Because growth, for me, has always been about saying yes to the things that scare you a little… and loving the journey that follows.”
