100 modern bus stands soon to speed up transportation, says Bihar CM

Jamui, Aug 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Sunday unveiled the state government's plans to build 100 new bus stands, equipped with all modern facilities, to ramp up road transport connectivity and strengthen the urban infrastructure, which in turn will play a key role in accelerating the industrial development in the state.

The announcement was made during unveiling of the life-size statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by the Chief Minister in Jamui district.

 

Samrat Choudhary paid home homage to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary by unveiling the statue near Bodhwa Bus Stand located in Jhajha (Jamui) and said that it is the supreme duty of all of us to walk on the path shown by him.

Paying tributes to Sardar Patel, the Chief Minister said that Sardar Patel's unwavering willpower, patriotism, and dedication to the nation's unity and integrity would always serve as a source of inspiration for the people of the country.

The Chief Minister announced that more than 100 modern and state-of-the art bus stands would be constructed in the state to strengthen the transport system.

Later, addressing the audience, Chief Minister Choudhary remarked that the state government is continuously working to achieving the dream of prosperous Bihar as envisioned by former CM Nitish Kumar.

Referring to the developmental vision of Bihar and the country, Samrat Choudhary said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's vision of a prosperous Bihar would guide his government's direction.

He added that the state government is continuously working in sectors such as electricity, transport, roads, education, health, and industry.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is giving healthcare services across the state, a facelift by upgrading facilities, including surgical procedures at 36 district hospitals.

He added that it is the state government's objective to ensure the people of Bihar are healthy, educated, and prosperous.
