New Delhi, Aug 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) trained guns at AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, over the alleged irregularities in the pharma officers’ recruitment in Punjab and asked whether he will ask his government to put in his papers after the High Court has pulled them up.
BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the decision by the Punjab-Haryana High Court raises very serious questions and shows that the Punjab government lied in the Legislative Assembly, the state's supreme institution.
“Kejriwal has been sitting tight-lipped on Jharkhand and Punjab matters. We want to ask him - when your government's lies have been proven in court, will you then tender your government's resignation?,” the BJP RS MP asked.
The remarks come on the back of the Punjab and Haryana High Court staying the appointment of pharmacy officers in Punjab till the next date of hearing on September 17.
Sudhanshu Trivedi further said that the so‑called champions of student interests, Arvind Kejriwal, has remained silent on Jharkhand and Punjab. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi has turned a deaf ear, which in turn shows that their so‑called morality has collapsed on the ground of constitutionalism.
“It is very clear that all these politicians who pretend to stand for student interests and all those characters who declare themselves as champions of student interests have no concern with the real interests of students,” Dr Trivedi remarked.
The RS MP further said that the BJP wants to ask Arvind Kejriwal, who has remained silent on Punjab, and Rahul Gandhi, who has turned a deaf ear to Jharkhand, why they are sitting silently.
He also demanded to know where the new self‑proclaimed champions of student interests and the ‘characters’ of Jantar Mantar are today.
