Produced by Sela Studios with the support of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and Riyadh Season, 7 Dogs is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the acclaimed filmmaking duo behind Bad Boys for Life and Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The project has been conceived and co-written by Turki Alalshikh and brings together talent from multiple film industries for an ambitious action-driven story.
The trailer gives a glimpse of the film's massive scale, with Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz at the centre of the action while Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt add their unmistakable star power to the ensemble. Monica Bellucci, Martin Lawrence and Giancarlo Esposito further elevate the international appeal of the project, which looks set to combine Hollywood-style action with the energy of Middle Eastern and Indian cinema.
The action and stunt work is another major highlight of 7 Dogs. The film's ambitious sequences were developed with the involvement of 87Eleven, the renowned action and stunt company associated with the John Wick franchise. Veteran stunt designer Stephen Dunlevy, known for his work on films including Mad Max: Fury Road and John Wick, has led the action and stunt design, adding to the film's promise of large-scale thrills.
The ensemble also features Tara Emad, Nasser Al-Qasabi and Max Huang, among others. With Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, Indian superstars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, European icon Monica Bellucci and Hollywood talents Martin Lawrence and Giancarlo Esposito coming together under the direction of the Bad Boys filmmakers, 7 Dogs is shaping up to be a truly cross-cultural cinematic event. The film arrives in Indian theatres on August 21.
