Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan appeal to people to stand by PM Modi

Bhogapuram (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) Rallying behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid the criticism in the wake of ‘insults’ and ‘abuses’ directed at him during recent protests, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday appealed to people to stand by him, saying he alone is capable of making India a developed country.

Calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘blessing’ for India and the ‘tallest leader’ in the world, Chandrababu Naidu urged people to protect his leadership.

Claiming that there is no leader in India who can surpass PM Modi, Pawan Kalyan called for ensuring that he remains in power as long as he wants.

Leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP), both allies of the BJP-led NDA, came out in support of PM Modi while sharing the dais with him at a public meeting held during the inauguration of Alluri Sitaramara Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district.

“Mr Narendra Modi is the right man at the right time and at the right place. The nation is blessed with his leadership. I am appealing to the entire nation to think only thing, without him we can’t imagine 2047,” said Chandrababu Naidu.

The TDP chief called PM Modi the ‘tallest leader’ in the world and said he is respected everywhere in the world. “That is the pride he brought to the nation. All of us have to stand with him,” he said and urged people at the public meeting to stand up and show their support.

The Chief Minister repeatedly exhorted the audience to chant ‘Modi Modi’.

Stating that democratic countries everywhere are facing crises and searching for new leaders, Naidu said India is fortunate to have Narendra Modi as its leader.

“The world has moved from IT to AI. The right knowledge is available. The right technology is maturing, but we need a leader to deliver. Democratic countries everywhere are facing crises, searching for new leaders. India is fortunate. There is tested leadership. For 25 years, Narendra Modi as Chief Minister and Prime Minister has done extraordinary work,” he said.

Terming PM Modi as the only leader in the democratic world with knowledge and technology, the TDP chief said he had the ability to carry 144 crore people and take this nation forward.

“For the last 12 years, all of us have to compare. There is tremendous track record, digital public infrastructure. Today, I can say proudly that the world’s largest digital transactions are happening not in America, not in China but in India. That is the great work Narendra Modiji has done,” he said.

The Chief Minister cited the work done for financial inclusion through Jan Dhan and JAM (Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile). Calling it a historic movement, he said the benefits of the government schemes were reaching last-mile beneficiaries through DBT without corruption.

Naidu also referred to infrastructure development, high-speed trains, green hydrogen trains, ports, Metros and green energy.

Calling GST a breakthrough reform, he said welfare was reaching every poor person through Ayushman and other schemes.

“There is no Naxalism, no terrorism and India has one of the best foreign policies,” said the TDP leader, who exuded confidence that under PM Modi India will become the number one country in the world

Chandrababu Naidu stated that he became MLA for the first time in 1978 and a minister in 1980 but had never seen a leader like PM Modi with such clarity and with single agenda of nation first.

He also claimed that despite problems due to conflict in the Middle East and environmental imbalance resulting in rainfall deficit, PM Modi managed the situation effectively with less suffering for people.

“The entire nation has to understand the amount of development achieved and the amount of respect India is commanding. We have to protect his leadership. Those criticising him have to understand. What have they contributed? For the last 25 years, he has done extraordinary work, and only he is capable of making India the number one country in the world,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister said he was pained over the kind of language used against the PM during the protest at Jantar Mantar. He said the abusive words used for PM Modi brought tears to his eyes.

“What does the new generation know about his struggles,” asked Pawan Kalyan, who said the Prime Minister worked hard without taking a day’s leave to steer the country on the path of development.

“When I heard all the criticism directed at him, I wanted to say one thing to the Prime Minister: there is no leader in India who can surpass you, nor will there be. Leading a nation is like carrying out Lord Rama's divine mission; we should think what we all can do as 'Hanuman' to him”, he said.

The actor-politician said when it’s difficult to run even a family, PM Modi had been running the country of 140 crore people while dealing with external and internal enemies.

Referring to PM’s statement to forgive those who abused him, Pawan Kalyan said this speaks volumes about his character.

The Jana Sena leader called for ensuring that Narendra Modi remains in power till the time he wants.

He advised parents to teach good manners to children under 25 and help them become responsible citizens.
