New Delhi, July 30 (SocialNews.XYZ) As part of its public outreach initiative, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) will organise its monthly Suvidha Camp on August 1 for one-stop redressal of civic issues, an official said on July 30.
The camp, aimed at enhancing service delivery and ensuring prompt resolution of civic issues through a single-window facilitation mechanism, will be held at the NDCC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road (near Palika Kendra), from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, said the official in a statement.
The monthly NDMC Suvidha Camp provides residents and stakeholders with a convenient platform to access information, submit applications, and seek redressal of grievances relating to a wide range of municipal services.
Residents, service users, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), Market Traders Associations (MTAs), as well as serving and retired NDMC employees, are invited to participate and make full use of the services available at the camp, the statement said.
Citizens can avail assistance on a variety of civic services, including electricity-related matters such as new connections, disconnections, load enhancement or reduction, and transfer of ownership, it said.
The camp will also facilitate services relating to property tax, issuance of birth and death certificates, employee service matters, sanitation and waste management, waterlogging, road maintenance, pension schemes for widows, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, and booking of Barat Ghars and public parks, among several other municipal services.
To ensure seamless service delivery, senior officials and representatives from various NDMC departments will be available at dedicated facilitation counters to provide on-the-spot guidance, process applications, and ensure transparent, efficient, and time-bound disposal of public grievances.
Complementing this physical outreach initiative, NDMC has also introduced the Jan Suvidha Portal, an online grievance redressal platform that enables citizens to register complaints, track the status of their applications, and submit feedback on the services provided, the statement said.
Accessible through the official NDMC website, the portal offers a seamless, transparent, and contactless mode of civic service delivery, it said.
