Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy said President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s categorical condemnation of Iran’s hostilities against the sisterly State of Kuwait. President El-Sisi confirmed that such aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes the security and stability of the region. The President underscored Egypt’s absolute rejection of any attempt to infringe upon the sovereignty of Kuwait or tamper with its security and stability.
President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with the State of Kuwait, asserting that it stands in support of all measures Kuwait undertakes to protect its security and safeguard the resources of its people. The President commended the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in managing the current regional circumstances, lauding Kuwait’s commitment to averting regional escalation. In this regard, the President restated that the security of Kuwait and all Arab countries is an integral part of Egypt’s national security, highlighting Egypt’s tireless efforts to contain regional tensions and settle crises through peaceful means.
His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah valued Egypt’s firm and supportive stance toward the security and stability of Arab states, underlining the need to further deepen the ongoing consultations and coordination between Egypt and Kuwait in order to safeguard regional peace and stability in the face of common challenges. His Highness the Amir expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s position in support of his country amid the current regional circumstances, valuing Egypt’s efforts to contain tensions in the Middle East region.
