
Amaravati, July 26 (SocialNews.XYZ) Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday paid tributes to the soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil war.
On Kargil Vijay Diwas, the Governor paid tributes to the gallant Indian Army soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War. He said the soldiers fought valiantly under extremely harsh conditions to defend our motherland.
“Their indomitable spirit and unwavering resolve continue to inspire the youth with courage, patriotism, and a spirit of selfless service,” said Governor Abdul Nazeer.
Chief Minister Chandrabau Naidu paid solemn tributes to the brave soldiers, saying their extraordinary courage secured India’s victory. In the face of formidable terrain and relentless adversity, they stood firm to protect the nation’s sovereignty. Their supreme sacrifice and unmatched heroism continue to inspire generations and remain a timeless symbol of patriotism and national pride, the Chief Minister said.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that Kargil was not just a victory in war; it was the triumph of courage, sacrifice, and the unbreakable spirit of Bharat.
“On Kargil Vijay Diwas, we bow in eternal gratitude to the immortal heroes whose extraordinary valour and supreme sacrifice safeguarded our Nation’s sovereignty and upheld the honour of the Tiranga. On the icy heights of Kargil, our brave soldiers faced impossible odds with unwavering resolve, reclaimed every inch of our sacred motherland, and reminded the world that nothing is greater than the courage of an Indian soldier,” he posted on ‘X’.
“Some returned draped in the Tricolour so that the Tricolour would forever fly high. Every peaceful day we live, every dream we pursue, and every opportunity we cherish stand upon the foundation of their sacrifice,” he said.
“Kargil is not just a chapter in history; it is a timeless lesson in patriotism, duty, resilience, and selfless service. The greatest tribute today’s generation can pay is to live by these values, place the Nation above self, and work towards a stronger, united, and developed Bharat. Nations celebrate victories. Bharat remembers those who made victory possible,” Pawan Kalyan added.
Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also paid tributes to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil war.
“On Kargil Vijay Diwas, we pay our tribute to the brave soldiers whose unwavering resolve, unparalleled courage, and supreme sacrifice protected our nation’s sovereignty. Their extraordinary valor will forever inspire generations of Indians. We salute our Armed Forces and remember with deep gratitude the martyrs who laid down their lives in service of the Motherland. Jai Hind!,” Jagan posted on ‘X’.
