‘Major victory for youth’: Akali Dal leader Majithia on Education Minister’s resignation

Chandigarh, July 25 (SocialNews.XYZ) Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia on Saturday congratulated the youth across the country, saying their long struggle against paper leaks and examination irregularities had finally achieved success.

He also congratulated every young person, teachers and social activist Sonam Wangchuk for contributing to this movement. He said moral responsibility had finally been fixed and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had submitted his resignation.

For Majithia, this “is a major victory for the country’s youth”. Congratulating the youth of Punjab as well, Majithia said the time had come to hold the state government accountable for what he described as its double standards.

He said since the Aam Aadmi Party, which he referred to as the “Rangili Party”, came to power in Punjab, paper leaks had taken place every year and the state's youth had been repeatedly betrayed.

Majithia said AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, who had joined protests in Delhi demanding moral accountability and resignations over paper leak cases, were now maintaining complete silence over the recurring recruitment scandals and examination controversies in Punjab.

He questioned whether accountability applied only to the Central government while the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab was exempt from any moral standards.

Majithia said after the Aam Aadmi Party formed the government in Punjab, several examinations, comprising the Naib Tehsildar and Junior Engineer recruitment, and recently the Baba Farid University Pharmacy Officer recruitment, had been surrounded by controversies.

He claimed allegations of financial transactions, organised cheating and paper leak networks had surfaced, exposing how the leak mafia was operating, yet Sisodia continued to claim that everything was fine.

The SAD leader said allegations of paper leaks and examination irregularities had emerged every year, putting the hard work and future of thousands of young aspirants at risk, but no one had accepted moral responsibility or resigned.

He added the time had now come to accept responsibility and that the youth of Punjab, like the youth across the country, had awakened and would demand answers from the ministers and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over every leaked examination.
