NDA hails PM Modi’s fast-track courts directive; calls it historic and visionary

New Delhi, July 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the BJP, on Thursday welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's directive to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and severe punishment for those found guilty in paper leak cases, terming the decision as "historic" and "visionary".

Union Minister Piyush Goyal called the youth the nation's "biggest asset".

In a post on X, Goyal said: "Fast-track courts will now ensure that those involved in paper leaks are brought to justice."

"India's youth are its biggest asset. The government under PM Modi ji is committed to ensuring that our youngsters inherit a promising future and have the opportunities to realise their aspirations," he added.

Assuring the youth and their parents, the Union Minister said: "We continue to take decisive steps against those playing with the future of our children and assure our youth and parents that we firmly stand with them."

"The future of the nation's youth will never be compromised," he asserted.

Echoing a similar view, BJP President Nitin Nabin said that under PM Modi's leadership, "the government is fully committed to protecting the aspirations, hard work, and future of our youth".

"To ensure swift and decisive action against crimes such as examination paper leaks, Fast Track Courts will be established so that the guilty receive prompt and stringent punishment. Those who jeopardize the future of hardworking students will not be spared under any circumstances," Nabin said in a post on X.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that PM Modi's directive to establish fast-track courts for the swift resolution of paper leak cases is a "historic and visionary step towards safeguarding the future of millions of students".

Taking to X, he said: "This decision will effectively curb organized crimes like paper leaks, ensure strict punishment for the guilty, enhance the transparency and credibility of examinations, and give students the confidence that no injustice will be tolerated with their hard work."

Referring to the Prime Minister's warning that "those who tamper with the future of the youth will not be spared", the Uttarakhand CM said: "On behalf of all Uttarakhand residents, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to the Prime Minister Ji for this decisive step taken with the utmost priority for student interests."

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta echoed, saying that "safeguarding the interests of students and securing a bright future for the youth is our utmost priority".

"The decision to establish fast-track courts in paper leak cases and to take stringent action against the guilty is a crucial step toward ensuring justice for every hardworking student. The law will carry out its work with full rigor against those who violate students' rights and strike at their hard work," she said in a post on X.
