When asked about his recent weight loss and muscular physique, Shiv revealed that maintaining different looks is important for an entertainer. He shared that while he personally enjoys a bulky physique, the same appearance may not always work for acting projects.
"I have a lot of blessings with me today. Regarding what I’m doing—well, everyone in this field has to do it; I’m not the only one. Everyone does it. I feel that if you keep introducing changes and variations, people will enjoy the work. Personally, I like having a bulky physique, but while a bulky look works for reality shows, it doesn't necessarily work for acting roles. So, you have to keep working on all aspects. Just keep working," Shiv said.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Shiv revealed that fans can expect announcements soon. He shared, "There are many things coming up—both reality-based and acting-related projects. Something acting-related is in the works, too; it will happen. Probably around September. 'Bapaa' will bring something big—a announcement will be made."
Speaking about his Ganpati preparations, Shiv revealed that he has already started planning for the festival. "We’ve just placed the order for the Ganpati idol. I’m coming straight from there. From there? Yes, I just finished placing the order for the Ganpati idol," he said.
Shiv also opened up about his journey in the entertainment industry and the wait for his OTT debut or a major film project. The reality star said that patience and self-improvement have played an important role in his career.
"It will happen. Sometimes, I feel that you just have to keep working on yourself. Not everything is in your hands; the Almighty grants the right things at the right time, and that is crucial. If you get something too early and aren't able to handle it, you might become arrogant—which isn't good for you. I believe in the right timing; my life is wonderful," Shiv shared.
Reflecting on his humble beginnings, Shiv said he values every opportunity because of the struggles he and his family experienced earlier in life. "There have been times of frustration in life, but coming from the background I do—where getting even ten rupees made us happy... My mom and I would manage with just a couple of rupees, sharing whatever we had. That’s the attitude I developed," he added.
Shiv further explained that he feels grateful for his success and does not believe in unnecessary controversies. "What do you really gain from controversies—saying things about this person or that person? Your mother should be happy seeing you on screen. I feel my current pace is great, and I’m enjoying it. I enjoy the journey," he said.
The reality star also admitted that while he sometimes feels frustrated when things do not work out, he quickly reminds himself of how far he has come. "If I ever feel a bit of internal frustration—wondering why a particular deal isn't working out—I go home and realize, 'Wow, we’ve actually become quite wealthy; we're much better off than before.' That makes me happy," Shiv said.
Talking about future opportunities, Shiv added, "Greed never ends—if you get a big film, you’ll want an even bigger one later. I’m happy with whatever comes my way." With his positive mindset and upcoming projects, Shiv Thakare continues to remain one of the most loved personalities in the entertainment industry.
