Govinda Returns To Film Production With Rupa And Dunyadari

Bollywood star Govinda is officially back in the spotlight, this time as a producer, with the grand launch of two upcoming Hindi films, Rupa and Dunyadari. I decided to make a fresh start with the film Rupa, so today we are launching Rupa. It is a suspense drama, but since I am involved, there is bound to be comedy as well. You have seen many of my films in the past—like Dulhe Raja—that were entertaining from start to finish; Rupa will offer a similar experience, featuring situations where characters get entangled in amusing predicaments.”

He further reflected on his previous film and expressed confidence in the new project. “My previous film, Aa Gaya Hero, didn't quite reach the level of success I had hoped for. I have high hopes for Rupa; notably, this is the first time in my 29-30 year career that I am doing a film titled after the heroine. While your opinion will matter most after you watch the movie, Rani Swarnkar is the leading lady in the film.”

“Historically, the heroines who have worked with me have gone on to star in half a dozen hit films. I pray to God and hope that we, too, can deliver at least half a dozen hits together. I earnestly seek your support and cooperation” added Govinda.
