Gandhinagar, July 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday reviewed its recent statewide outreach programmes and outlined its organisational agenda for the coming months, with a focus on strengthening party activities and expanding participation in the Prime Minister's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' tree plantation campaign during the monsoon.
The state-level meeting was held at the party's state headquarters, Shri Kamalam, in Gandhinagar, under the chairmanship of state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma.
State Organisation General Secretary Ratnakarji was also present. Party chief spokesperson Dr Anil Patel said the meeting centred on planning and implementing upcoming organisational programmes across Gujarat.
Jagdish Vishwakarma and Ratnakarji provided guidance to party office-bearers and organisational leaders on ensuring the smooth and effective execution of these activities.
The meeting also reviewed the programmes conducted across the state in June under the Bharatiya Janata Party's '12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare' campaign, organised to mark 12 years of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Party leaders also assessed the statewide Mandal training sessions held as part of the organisation's cadre development efforts.
Addressing the meeting, Vishwakarma urged party leaders to intensify the Prime Minister-inspired 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign during the monsoon season.
He called for large-scale tree plantation across Gujarat, with the active participation of the party organisation, and stressed that such plantations should be accompanied by a commitment to proper maintenance.
"The 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign should be accelerated during the monsoon season. Large-scale tree plantation should be organised across the state with the participation of the Bharatiya Janata Party organisation, along with a commitment to proper maintenance," Dr Patel quoted Vishwakarma as saying.
The meeting was attended by State General Secretaries Dr Prashant Korat, Aniruddh Dave, Hitendrasinh Chauhan and Ajay Brahmbhatt, along with state office-bearers, state in-charges and presidents of all party fronts, as well as district and city in-charges and presidents.
