Soon after receiving information about the incident, the Delhi Fire Services launched an extensive emergency response operation and rushed more than 15 fire tenders along with over 75 firefighters to the spot to prevent the flames from spreading to adjoining structures.

Firefighters battled the blaze for several hours before successfully bringing it under control.

According to the Delhi Fire Services, the fire was brought under control at around 6.30 a.m. after sustained firefighting efforts.

Officials said no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
