Jaipur, June 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has directed officials to ensure the effective implementation of Rural and Urban Service Camps, emphasising that grievances related to roads, drinking water, electricity, healthcare, and revenue matters must be resolved permanently.
Reviewing preparations for the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural), VB-G Ram Ji Scheme, Chief Minister Sharma directed the concerned departments to complete all arrangements before its launch on July 1.
CM Sharma described the scheme as a major initiative that would accelerate employment generation, strengthen rural livelihoods, and contribute significantly towards achieving the vision of Viksit Rajasthan–2047.
He warned that strict action would be taken against any official found negligent in the conduct of these camps.
Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said the camps have emerged as an effective platform for providing on-the-spot solutions to citizens' problems and instructed officials to make them result-oriented and accountable.
The Chief Minister directed departments to prepare separate district-wise lists of newly received and pending cases to ensure systematic disposal and continuous monitoring. He also instructed officials to accord top priority to resolving long-pending revenue cases in rural areas so that villagers receive timely relief.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, senior officials from the Chief Minister's Office, and representatives of the Urban Development and Local Self-Government Department, Revenue Department, and Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department attended the meeting.
Earlier, on the occasion of International MSME Day, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma unveiled a series of major policy initiatives and incentives aimed at accelerating industrial growth, strengthening Rajasthan's MSME ecosystem, promoting entrepreneurship, and positioning the state as a leading destination for investment.
The Chief Minister announced the development of dedicated Haats for artisans and weavers, new incentives for the electronics and semiconductor sectors under RIPS-2024, financial support for 25 startups through the Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund, and the launch of the Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy, among other initiatives.
He also distributed financial assistance worth over Rs 13 crore and RIICO land allotment letters to beneficiaries, reaffirming the government's commitment to inclusive industrial development and employment generation.
The Chief Minister said Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of Rajasthan's economic growth, employment generation, and self-reliance.
He reiterated the government's commitment to encouraging youth entrepreneurship, enhancing the global visibility of local products, and transforming Rajasthan into a leading industrial state while preserving its cultural heritage.
