Bhopal, June 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan promptly congratulated the newly appointed members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Working Committee in Madhya Pradesh.
In a statement posted on his X handle, Chouhan expressed confidence that the appointees would uphold the BJP’s ideology, principles, and commitment to national service. He urged them to work diligently towards good governance, development, and ensuring welfare benefits reach the last person in society.
The BJP in Madhya Pradesh has released a fresh list of 106 members for the State Working Committee as part of its ongoing organisational revamp. State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal issued the notification on Tuesday, naming leaders to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of future electoral and developmental challenges.
The list features a blend of experienced leaders, young talent, and representatives from various sections of society. Prominent names include Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Union Minister Virendra Kumar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jagadish Devda, Prahlad Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Rakesh Singh, Uday Pratap Singh, Narottam Mishra, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh, Arvind Bhadoria, Brijendra Pratap Singh, Lal Singh Arya, and Om Prakash Dhurve.
Other inclusions are Krishna Gaur, Brajraj Singh Chouhan, Divyaraj Singh, Durgadas Uikey, Rampal Singh, Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Rajendra Shukla, Sanjay Pathak, and women leaders such as Sumitra Valmiki, Imarti Devi, Lalita Yadav, and Hemlata Kumhare. The committee also highlights regional diversity, including leaders such as Sanjay Shah, Kamal Patel, and Gajendra Patel, as well as tribal and backward-class representatives.
Party sources said the reshuffle reduces the overall size of the previous executive while aiming for greater efficiency. Special invitees include district presidents, frontal organisation heads, and co-opted members. The move aligns with directives from National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and focuses on strengthening at the booth level and developmental goals for the 2020s.
Senior leaders view the new team as a dynamic mix capable of advancing the party’s agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. With Madhya Pradesh under BJP rule, this organisational boost is expected to enhance coordination between the government and party cadre for effective implementation of welfare schemes in agriculture, rural development, and infrastructure.
The appointments have been welcomed across the state unit, with workers expressing optimism for renewed energy in public service.
