After striking gold with its first two seasons, Save the Tigers returns with its third outing, aiming to raise the bar while keeping its signature humor intact. With a strong fanbase and consistent OTT success on Jio Hotstar, Season 3 arrives with solid expectations—and thankfully, it manages to deliver a largely satisfying experience.

Story

Rahul (Abhinav Gomatam) is pushed into a corporate life in Bengaluru that he never truly desired, leaving him frustrated and disconnected. Ganta Ravi (Priyadarshi), driven by political dreams, ends up draining his finances while facing increasing pressure from his family. At the same time, Vikram (Chaitanya Krishna) is dealing with a failing marriage, as his wife Rekha (Deviyani Sharma) moves towards divorce—only for him to shock everyone by asking for alimony.

As their personal lives spiral, the trio begins to question the very idea of marriage and the expectations tied to it. Their frustration reaches the heavens, catching the attention of Indra (Vennela Kishore), who assigns Gupta (Gundu Sudarshan) to intervene.

In a surprising twist, the three men are transported into a parallel universe where they encounter alternate versions of their lives. What initially seems like a perfect escape soon turns into a journey of self-realization, forcing them to confront truths they had long ignored.

Performances

The trio of Abhinav Gomatam, Priyadarshi, and Chaitanya Krishna once again carry the show with ease. Their ability to switch between contrasting shades adds freshness and keeps the narrative engaging.

Among the supporting cast, Deviyani Sharma delivers a convincing performance, while Sujatha and Pavani provide strong emotional support. Vennela Kishore adds a fun element with his divine character, and Gundu Sudarshan fits well into the narrative. Comedy is handled effectively by Avinash, Rohini, and Harsha Vardhan. Srikanth Iyengar stands out with a nuanced role, and Gangavva brings her usual charm.

Analysis

Unlike previous seasons that thrived on realism, Season 3 experiments with a fantasy-driven concept. The parallel world angle injects novelty into the story, making it feel fresh without losing its emotional depth.
