Directed by Minions co-creator Pierre Coffin, Minions & Monsters takes the lovable yellow creatures into a brand-new world — Hollywood. The film follows the “true” and completely chaotic story of how the Minions chased their dreams of becoming filmmakers, rose to fame, lost everything, and accidentally unleashed monsters that threaten the planet. Their only option is to come together and fix the disaster they created.
Set in the 1920s, the story begins with three Minions heading to Hollywood in search of cinematic success. However, their journey takes a wild turn when they discover a mysterious spellbook and accidentally summon a monster. The newly released promo adds even more fun by featuring a classic Cyclops gag, including a hilarious moment where the giant creature steps on a Lego block, creating an unexpected connection to Greek mythology.
The film features the voice talents of Pierre Coffin as the Minions, alongside an impressive cast including Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan, and Phil LaMarr.
