‘Elle’ Trailer Takes Fans Back to Elle Woods’ High School Years Ahead of Prime Video Premiere

Prime Video has unveiled the full official trailer for Elle, the highly anticipated comedy series that serves as a prequel to the beloved Legally Blonde franchise. Set years before Elle Woods became the fashionable and ambitious Harvard Law student audiences fell in love with, the new series explores her teenage years and the experiences that shaped her iconic personality.

Newcomer Lexi Minetree steps into the lead role as a young Elle Woods, earning attention for her striking resemblance to Reese Witherspoon, who famously portrayed the character in the hit films. The first season follows Elle as a high school student in the 1990s, navigating friendships, family life, and the challenges of growing up while discovering who she truly wants to become.

The trailer teases a coming-of-age story filled with humor, heart, and plenty of pink. As Elle adjusts to new experiences and faces unexpected challenges, she begins to realize that there is more to her identity than appearances. The series aims to offer a fresh perspective on the character while maintaining the charm and optimism that made her a pop culture favorite.
