Karisma Kapoor Returns in Dark Neo-Noir Thriller ‘Brown’

ZEE5 has dropped the official teaser for its upcoming original series Brown, a gritty neo-noir crime thriller set against the haunting backdrop of Kolkata. The platform’s latest announcement has quickly grabbed attention for its dark tone, intense storytelling, and the much-talked-about return of Karisma Kapoor in a powerful lead role.

The series revolves around Rita Brown, a disgraced and emotionally broken police officer battling alcoholism and personal trauma. Despite her struggles, she finds herself at the center of a disturbing investigation involving ritualistic murders and a serial killer targeting women. The city of Kolkata becomes a character in itself—murky, secretive, and filled with layers of hidden crime and corruption.

Alongside Karisma Kapoor, the series features a strong ensemble cast including Jisshu Sengupta, Soni Razdan, and Paresh Pahuja, each playing key roles in the unfolding mystery.
