In a series of fiery posts shared on his notes section, Salman made it clear that he was deeply upset by what he described as an attempt to create content out of someone’s pain and personal distress. The actor stated that he has always supported the press and ensured that photographers and media professionals were treated with respect over the years.
Reacting to the incident, Salman wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread n butter.” The actor then added another emotional message criticizing the behaviour of photographers outside hospitals. “But if they wanna make money from my losses. Keep quiet, don't enjoy. Bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life,” he wrote.
The actor further warned paparazzi against repeating such actions during difficult personal moments. In another strongly worded post, Salman wrote, “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga.” His comments quickly went viral across social media platforms, with fans and industry insiders debating celebrity privacy and the ethics of paparazzi culture.
Salman also reminded people that despite being nearly 60 years old, he has not lost his fighting spirit. “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haar,” the actor wrote, adding another intense layer to his reaction. Many fans online supported Salman’s stance, saying hospitals and medical emergencies should remain private spaces, regardless of a celebrity’s public status.
The controversy began after videos from outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on May 19 showed Salman visibly irritated with photographers gathered near the premises. Clips of the actor trying to move through the crowd while paparazzi continued filming him spread rapidly online, triggering conversations about boundaries between celebrities and the media.
On the professional front, Salman Khan will next be seen in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace alongside Chitrangada Singh. The film, earlier titled Battle of Galwan, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and backed by Salman Khan Films, the movie is expected to release soon and has already generated considerable buzz among fans.
