The Flame of Bhogi- Introducing Anupama Parameswaran as Kandula Sulochana Rani In Charming Star Sharwa, Mass Mav erick Sampath Nandi, KK Radhamohan, Sri Sathya Sai Arts’ Prestigious Pan India Project Bhogi

Rising on a wave of excitement, Charming Star Sharwa reinvents himself with Bhogi, a massive pan-India period action saga marking his first-ever collaboration with Mass Maverick Sampath Nandi. Produced KK Radhamohan on the prestigious Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, the film is shaping up to be one of the most daring and large-scale ventures in Sharwa’s journey. The team earlier unveiled a striking first-look poster followed by Sharwa’s birthday special poster, and the response was remarkable, with everyone praising the raw intensity and grand vision on display.

Meanwhile, the makers introduced Anupama’s character as Kandula Sulochana Rani, revealing her first look. The poster features Anupama in a village belle avatar walking barefoot on a dusty rural path. She carries a large woven basket filled with green leaves on her head while holding more leaves in one hand and a tiffin box in the other. Her attire is rustic, an earthy half saree with a faded blouse, styled in a traditional manner. Her expression is intense and determined, hinting at a strong, hardworking character. Behind her, the backdrop shows a raw, authentic village setup with mud huts, wooden fences, and cattle.

Evidently, she breathed life into every iota of Sulochana - a spirited character deeply rooted in nature. Earning her livelihood by crafting leaf plates from Moduga leaves—the “Flame of the Forest” — Sulochana embodies both resilience and quiet strength. She is not just a part of this world, but its very pulse — the elemental force that anchors the storm named Ganga.

Bringing remarkable authenticity to the role, Anupama has immersed herself in the nuances of the character—perfecting the dialect, diction, and the subtle emotional textures that define Sulochana and the world of Bhogi.

After shooting for major portions in some long key schedules, Team Bhogi has recently wrapped several high-intensity action sequences across Rajamahendravaram, and the forest regions of Rampachodavaram and Maredumilli. Preparations are currently underway for the next major schedule, set to commence in and around Hyderabad from the first week of May.

Bhogi also stars Dimple Hayathi playing the other lead role. Set in the early 1960s, Bhogi is a pulsating period action drama unfolding in a fictional village along the borders of Telangana and Maharashtra.

The film brings together a seasoned technical team to elevate its visual and narrative scale. Art direction comes under the sharp eye of Kiran Kumar Manne, while cinematographer Kishore Kumar Arokia captures the world of the story through his lens. Adding emotional depth and energy to the narrative is the music scored by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Positioned as a major pan-India offering, the movie is set for a grand theatrical release on August 28th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, perfectly timed with the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan.
