Shah Rukh Khan Drops 'Kartavya' First Look, Caption Steals the Spotlight

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has once again grabbed attention—this time by unveiling the first look poster of Kartavya, starring Saif Ali Khan. Taking to social media, SRK shared the poster with a striking caption that instantly set the tone for the film: “Kartavya ke iss chakravyuh mein, har faisla ek imtihaan hoga. Watch Kartavya, out 15 May, only on Netflix.” Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is slated to release on Netflix on May 15, 2026.

The caption, rooted in the idea of the chakravyuh from the Mahabharata, hints at a narrative packed with moral dilemmas and high-stakes decisions. In Kartavya, Saif Ali Khan plays Pawan Malik, a police officer navigating dangerous territory where duty clashes with personal life. With threats looming over his family, the story promises an intense mix of crime, emotion, and ethical conflict, making it more than just a conventional cop thriller.

Directed by Pulkit, the film also stars Rasika Dugal and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. Known for bringing layered storytelling to the screen, the director seems to be aiming for a grounded yet gripping narrative. The supporting cast adds further intrigue, suggesting that Kartavya will balance performance-driven drama with edge-of-the-seat moments.

While the film’s first look has definitely sparked excitement, fans couldn’t help but turn the spotlight back on SRK. Many flooded the comments section asking for updates on his next acting project, King, proving that anticipation around Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen return remains as strong as ever. For now, though, Kartavya has everyone talking—thanks to a powerful first impression and a caption that perfectly captures the film’s essence.
