‘Chatha Pacha’ Makers Reel World Entertainment Unveil Bold Vision for the Future

After the success of Chatha Pacha, the team behind the film is clearly not slowing down. Reel World Entertainment has officially announced an ambitious growth roadmap, setting its sights on becoming a dynamic, future-ready content studio over the next few years.

Co-founded by Shihan Shoukath and Ritesh S Ramakrishnan, the production house recently shared a video post teasing its next chapter. With a slate that promises five feature films and a web series between 2026 and 2028, the company is actively looking to collaborate with filmmakers, writers, and creators to shape its upcoming projects. The tone is clear—bigger, bolder, and built to scale.

The roadmap begins with 2026, a foundational year for expansion. Reel World plans to launch its own movie distribution arm, establish RWE UAE, and kick off its second production. One of the most unique aspects of this phase is the introduction of a 1% equity model for crew members—an innovative move aimed at sharing long-term value with the people behind the scenes.

By 2027, the company intends to accelerate its momentum with Productions No. 3 and 4, while also building an online platform dedicated to freelancers in the industry. There are also plans to explore an AI-driven VFX company and launch a music label under the Reel World banner, signaling a strong push into multiple verticals of entertainment and technology.

The expansion continues into 2028 with Productions No. 5 and 6, along with the launch of the company’s first web series and its own film festival. Beyond traditional filmmaking, Reel World is also eyeing opportunities in gaming and interactive intellectual property, reflecting a shift toward more immersive storytelling formats.

Looking further ahead, 2029 and 2030 outline even bigger ambitions—from setting up a virtual production LED stage and entering international co-productions across the UAE and Europe, to evolving into a fully integrated studio. The end goal is clear: to operate across production, distribution, technology, and IP, while also tapping into emerging spaces like XR and immersive content.

With a clear vision and a structured roadmap, Reel World Entertainment is positioning itself as more than just a production house—it’s aiming to become a creative ecosystem. And if this plan unfolds as intended, the journey from Chatha Pacha to a global entertainment player could be one to watch closely.
