‘Kumki 2’ Trailer Promises an Emotional Return to the Wild; Set to Stream on Amazon Prime

Pen Movies has officially dropped a new video for ‘Kumki 2’, announcing the much-awaited sequel’s digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 3, 2026. Sharing the update on social media, the makers captioned it, “In the heart of the wild, a timeless friendship is born. A journey that will touch your soul.” The post instantly stirred excitement among fans of the original Kumki, which released over a decade ago.

Arriving 13 years after the first film, Kumki 2 serves as a standalone sequel while retaining the emotional core that made the original a cult favorite. Directed by Prabu Solomon, the film once again explores the profound bond between humans and elephants, set against the backdrop of dense forests and untouched wilderness. The 1 minute 38 second trailer showcases breathtaking visuals, heartfelt dialogues, and moving moments that highlight compassion, trust, and survival.

The film stars Mathi, Arjun Das, and Shrita Rao in key roles, with supporting performances by Andrews, Akash, Harish Peradi, and Srinath.
