Music maestro A.R. Rahman has unveiled his latest single, Jamal, a contemporary track that celebrates joy, kindness, and human connection. Sharing the release on social media, Rahman wrote, “Jamal is a reminder that happiness doesn’t always need a reason. It’s about kindness, compassion, and sharing what we have, especially when the world needs it most. A simple celebration of being human.” The song, composed for Burjeel Holdings, emphasizes the beauty of giving and the simple gestures that unite people across cultures and borders.

Jamal features vocals from Shuba, Brandon Diaz, and Mayssa Karaa, and showcases a rich, international musical texture. Shuba opens the track with a heartfelt introduction, followed by Brandon Diaz’s distinctive Hollywood-infused vocals, adding a unique layer to the composition. Mayssa Karaa’s ethereal performance enhances the emotional depth, creating what Rahman describes as “a lullaby for humanity.” The track is further enriched by the Firdaus Orchestra, whose cinematic string arrangements provide warmth, depth, and a moving quality to the song.

The music video, directed by Nazeef Mohammed (BToS) and edited by Allan Fernandes, was shot in Dubai with a diverse international cast.
