Dharmendra, who passed away at the age of 89 at his Mumbai home on Monday, left fans and the film fraternity mourning the loss of one of Indian cinema’s most beloved icons. His final rites were performed the day before yesterday at the Pawan Hans Crematorium, where emotional scenes unfolded as people gathered to say their final goodbye to the man who had defined charisma and heroism for generations.

Celebrated as Bollywood’s original “He-Man,” Dharmendra delivered numerous unforgettable performances that shaped the golden era of Hindi cinema. Beyond his cinematic achievements, Dharmendra was admired for his warmth, simplicity, and enduring screen presence.
