Producer Shareef Muhammed Unveils Pan-India Actioner Kattalan First Look

After the phenomenal success of Marco, which stormed the box office as the first A-rated Malayalam film to cross ₹100 crore globally, producer Shareef Muhammed is back with an even bigger cinematic venture—Kattalan (The Hunter). The much-anticipated pan-India action thriller dropped its first-look poster today, unveiling a raw and brooding Antony Varghese in full fierce mode.

The poster, released on Antony Varghese’s birthday, captures him in an intense, blood-streaked close-up with a cigar in hand, setting the tone for a gritty narrative. Directed by Paul George, the film promises a high-adrenaline mix of rugged action and emotional depth, underscored by B Ajaneesh Loknath’s electrifying score. The sleek look and moody tone suggest a story of survival and vengeance, powered by top-tier production design and global aesthetics.

Action director Kecha Khamphakdee, famed for his work in Ong-Bak 2, Baahubali 2, and Jawan, has choreographed the film’s fight sequences, raising expectations for breathtaking stunts on par with international action cinema.
