Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara, Thamma serves as the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following hits like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The film brings together a genre-bending mix of horror, humor, and romance—with a Diwali twist.
The star cast is stacked with talent. Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok, a man caught between love and the supernatural. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Tadaka, whose name hints at mythological origins. Nawazuddin Siddiqui appears in a darkly comic role as Yakshasan, while Paresh Rawal plays Ram Bajaj Goyal, a character who’s bound to bring both gravitas and laughs.
