Manipur police displayed arms and ammunition recovered from Khundongbam Ojit Singh alias Keilal (47), arrested in a joint operation in Imphal. Acting on his disclosures, investigators seized one A4 rifle (with magazines), one HK rifle, two AK rifles, one INSAS rifle, three lathode shells, 170 rounds of AK ammunition, 216 rounds of M-16 ammunition, 67 rounds of INSAS ammunition, a mobile phone, wallet and Aadhaar card. Singh is accused of involvement in the September 19 ambush on 33 Assam Rifles at Sabal Leikai, Nambol, Bishnupur, during which two Assam Rifles personnel were killed and five others injured.
