The Lost Bus Final Trailer Is Out

Apple TV+ has released a gripping full-length trailer for the intense wildfire thriller The Lost Bus, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Paul Greengrass. Based on real events, the film vividly dramatizes the harrowing 2018 Camp Fire, California’s deadliest wildfire in a century, which tragically claimed 85 lives. The story follows a determined school bus driver, played by Matthew McConaughey, and a dedicated school teacher, portrayed by America Ferrera, as they race against time to save 22 children trapped in the inferno.

The film not only thrills with edge-of-your-seat suspense but also delves into the causes and consequences of the disaster, offering insight into what went wrong and how future tragedies might be prevented. The screenplay was co-written by Paul Greengrass and Brad Ingelsby, adapted from Lizzie Johnson’s book Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire. Alongside McConaughey and Ferrera, the cast includes Yul Vazquez and Ashlie Atkinson.
