Anil Kapoor Sends Heartfelt Birthday Wishes to Akshay Kumar, Calls Him a Heart-Ruler On and Off Screen

Two legends, one heartfelt moment. On the occasion of Akshay Kumar’s birthday, actor Anil Kapoor took to his X (formerly Twitter) profile to send warm wishes to his longtime friend and co-star. “Happy Birthday, Akshay! Wishing you boundless energy, health and happiness forever. Keep ruling hearts on and off screen!” Kapoor wrote, tagging Akshay and reminding us all that real bromance in Bollywood never goes out of style.

The duo, who gave us unforgettable moments in films like the emotional Bewafaa and the iconic comedy Welcome, share a camaraderie that clearly extends beyond the silver screen. Whether it’s poking fun at each other in interviews or backing each other’s projects, Anil and Akshay's bond is built on mutual respect, admiration, and shared screen legacy.

While the birthday wishes are pouring in from fans and celebs alike, both actors are deep into their current work commitments. Akshay Kumar is juggling a diverse slate of films — the legal drama Jolly LLB 3, the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, and the high-octane sci-fi thriller Haiwaan. As always, Akshay continues to prove that genre is just a playground for his versatility.

Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, is flexing his range in projects like Alpha, a futuristic action saga, and Subedaar, a gritty drama that dives into the life of a war veteran. At 68, Kapoor continues to defy time — both in looks and in energy — matching (and sometimes outpacing) actors half his age.

In a world of fleeting friendships, it's always refreshing to see two stalwarts of Bollywood rooting for each other, year after year. Here’s to more birthdays, more blockbusters, and maybe—just maybe—a Welcome 3 reunion?
