Dawn Pictures has officially wrapped up the Pollachi schedule of their much-anticipated Tamil political period drama Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara and headlined by Sivakarthikeyan. The production house shared the update on X with a behind-the-scenes picture, captioning: "Wrapped up the Pollachi schedule for #Parasakthi, Final Leg Awaits."

 

The film, which navigates Tamil Nadu’s volatile political landscape of the 1960s, draws direct inspiration from the 1965 anti-Hindi agitations, a defining moment in Tamil socio-political history. This update follows the earlier title dispute with another film titled Sakthi Thirumagan, which temporarily halted production. With the conflict resolved, shooting has resumed in full swing.
