“First and foremost I would like to thank media people,” Mishra said. “I requested that I wanted to sing for Salman Khan, and the media supported it. Since then, I’ve sung three songs for him.” These include Allah Duhai Hai from Race 3, which he also performed live, the soulful Sajan Radio from Tubelight, and the energetic Sikandar Naache from Sikandar.
He shared a similar journey with Ajay Devgn, singing for Golmaal 3 and later delivering the title track for the intense action-drama Bholaa. Now, Amit Mishra is ready to set his sights on another Bollywood heavyweight: Hrithik Roshan.
“Hrithik Roshan would be one of those actors who has always inspired me,” Mishra said. “Every time I watch him dance, his presentation, his performance, his acting — he’s a complete package altogether. I really do wish to sing for him.”
Amit Mishra rose to fame with his chart-topping track Bulleya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, earning him multiple awards including the Filmfare Award for Best New Music Talent, and accolades from IIFA and Screen Awards. Known for his powerful vocals and emotive singing, Mishra has also lent his voice to songs in Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi films, showcasing his multilingual talent and versatility.
With a track record of turning musical wishes into reality, the industry — and his fans — may soon see his dream of singing for Hrithik Roshan come true.
