The Nehru Zoological Park had earlier named the white tigress "Klin Kaara" in honour of the Konidela family’s little one — a rare and touching tribute that has now come full circle. The real-life Klin Kaara visited the zoo today with her parents to meet the feline Klin Kaara, who turned two on the same day.
Taking to social media, Upasana shared a beautiful photo with their daughter and the tigress, writing, "A year ago, she was just a tiny cub. Today, she’s a playful tigress named KlinKaara — after our daughter. Thank you @hydzoo for this beautiful gesture. We believe wildlife belongs in the wild, but support efforts that honour animals with dignity and care."
The Konidela family has officially adopted the tigress and pledged continued support to wildlife conservation efforts. The Hyderabad zoo authorities have expressed gratitude for the family’s gesture, which they say brings much-needed attention to the importance of protecting endangered species.
Fans and followers online were quick to express their admiration, calling the move “royal,” “meaningful,” and “perfectly symbolic” for a star child born into legacy, love, and now, a touch of the wild.
#KlinKaaraTurns2 – and celebrates with stripes, smiles, and a roaring reminder of the need to protect our planet’s magnificent creatures.
