T-Series Celebrates 10 Years of Bharat, But Promo Video Sparks Confusion

T-Series marked the 10th anniversary of Bharat, the Salman Khan–Katrina Kaif starrer that opened in cinemas on June 5, 2019. The studio shared a tribute post across its platforms, featuring a promo video with the caption: “A promise to his father. A life lived for many. Celebrating 10 years of Bharat.” The celebration aims to honor the film’s sweeping narrative, star power, and box office success — but it came with an unexpected hiccup: the embedded video mistakenly labeled the milestone as “6 Years of Bharat,” confusing fans and viewers familiar with the film's 2019 release.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and adapted from the acclaimed South Korean film Ode to My Father (2014), Bharat follows the life of a man named Bharat — played by Salman Khan — from childhood to his twilight years, mirroring the journey of post-independence India.
