While discussing the genre of the film, Akshay addressed a question from the media about the return of slapstick comedy in Housefull 5. He emphasized the skill it takes to deliver such humor, saying, “Slapstick comedy is not as easy as it seems. It demands perfect timing and physical effort. It may look silly on screen, but it’s one of the hardest forms of comedy to perform. I’ve had the privilege of working with brilliant comic actors like Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan—who’ve all mastered this genre.”
Akshay then surprised the audience with a personal anecdote. He revealed that he carries a small photograph of Charlie Chaplin in his wallet—an everyday reminder of the iconic filmmaker’s influence on his life and craft. When he offered to show it, the media responded with an enthusiastic “Yes!” and he proudly displayed the picture, receiving warm applause.
