Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt Give Chance to Newcomers and Treat Them as Superstars: Adah Sharma

At the trailer launch of the upcoming film Tumko Meri Kasam in Mumbai on Tuesday, Adah Sharma spoke about her experiences working with legendary directors Vikram Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. The film is inspired by the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, and during the event, Adah expressed her gratitude toward the Bhatt brothers, highlighting their incredible support for newcomers in the industry.

In her emotional speech, Adah shared, "Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt give chances to newcomers and treat them like superstars. I think that’s the nicest thing ever. I made my debut with Vikram Bhatt’s 1920. Before that, I hadn’t done anything, but he treated me like a superstar. He speaks with such respect and dignity—not just to me, but to my co-stars as well. I felt like a huge superstar, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to begin my career in this way. I am very fortunate to have worked with him."

She further expressed her gratitude, stating that the treatment she received on her first film set would always remain unforgettable. "I will never forget how I was treated on the set of my first film. They made me feel valued and important."

Adah also spoke about her experience preparing for her role in Tumko Meri Kasam, which is based on Dr. Ajay Murdia’s life. "Vikram sir shared the story with us and showed us pictures. We tried to replicate the look. Ultimately, it’s the audience who will decide, but I’m happy that we got approval from Dr. Ajay Murdia himself."

Tumko Meri Kasam featuring Anupam kher, Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, Esha Deol is all set to hit the cinemas on 21 March, 2025.
