Actor Abhishek Bachchan is set to reprise his role in the highly popular 'Housefull' film franchise, marking his return to the comedy series known for its hilarious antics and star-studded cast. The news was confirmed by the official handle of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the production company behind the franchise.

In a social media announcement, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment welcomed Abhishek Bachchan back to the 'Housefull' family, expressing their happiness at having him on board for 'Housefull 5'. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is set to be shot on a cruise liner, adding an exciting twist to the franchise's signature comedy.

Abhishek Bachchan will join the ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh, making for a star-studded lineup that is sure to entertain audiences. The 'Housefull' franchise, known for its slapstick humor and entertaining storylines, has been a box office success since its inception.

The franchise began in 2010 with the release of 'Housefull', followed by sequels in 2012, 2016, and 2019. Abhishek Bachchan previously appeared in 'Housefull 3', where he portrayed the character of Bunty, a wannabe rapper forced to pretend to be differently abled due to unforeseen circumstances.
