Fortunate To Be Part Of Gadar 2 Says Simrat Kaur

Debutante Simrat Kaur, who has worked extensively in South is making her debut with Gadar 2, says she feels fortunate to stand next to stars whom she has seen from a distance.

Simrat Kaur was interacting with Newshelpline at the trailer launch of Gadar – 2 in Mumbai.

Simart Kaur, who will be seen playing the role of Muksaan in Gadar 2, the love interest of Charanjeet aka Jeete.

Talking about her debut, Simrat said, “This is my debut, the film and being on stage as well. I am standing here with everyone, I think I am the most fortunate girl, because the people that I saw on-screen from a distance, today I am standing here with them on this stage, Sunny Deol, and Ameesha Patel, I am just ecstatic. Thank you, universe, for making it happen.”

“Doing my first movie with Anil Sharma, I don’t think there is any girl who is luckier than me right now. I am making my debut with Gadar – 2, I just thank the universe, I am so nervous right now, I don’t think I can talk anymore” said Simrat.

Helmed by Anil Sharma and penned by Shaktimaan Talwar, Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma; all reprising their roles from the first film.

It is scheduled to be released on 11 August 2023.
