90’s Genre Song Were The Best Says Stebin Ben

Mumbai, 25th July 2023 (Newshelpline) - Singer Stebin Ben remembers the 90’s genre fondly and believe that some of the best songs were created back then, which are being re-created now. 

 

Stebin Ben along with Gurnazar Chattha were interacting with Newshelpline for promote their new song Tu Aaja Na. 

 

When asked about film industry is flooded with recreated version of 90’s classics, Stebein Ben said, “Songs from 90’s genre were hit back then, they are hit now, it doesn’t matter how many genres or songs we introduce today, we keep going back to those songs, everyone recreates those song from 90’s, because this is root of India, we all have grown up listening to those songs and we try to take them forward” 

 

“If I get a chance to work with Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, or work on their song, I won’t miss it. I will do it” added Ben.   

 

The new song, Tu Aaja Na, is an enchanting melody of love and longing, which is climbing the charts quickly.

 

Talking about the song and collaborating with Gurnazar, singer Stebin said, “I have sung this song for my special friend Gurnazar, when he offered me the song, I was like, I will do it. This song is labor of love, not just me but everyone else in the team has worked hard on the song. This song is a part of album, this is first song from the album.”  

 

“Tu Aaja Na, it’s a Hindi and Punjabi mixed lyrics song, it is such a beautiful song, I didn’t think I will be able to do it properly. I even told Gurnazar, if you like the song, only then I will sing it otherwise not. The vibe of the song is Desi. You will see a lot of Indian roots in the song, even the video for the song has been shot in the same manner, there is no styling in the video, it is simple and organic kind of song” added Ben. 

 

The song is penned by Vishal Pande and Gurnazar, and composed by Gaurav Den and Kartik Dev.
