During her interaction with Newshelpline, as asked Payal if she has seen Adipurush and what’s her take, she said, “I’d seen Adipurush, and now they have changed the dialogues, but it is still disrespectful. I don’t understand what’s the point of changing the dialogues, it is still bad. I mean, how can someone write something like this about lord Hanuman. The makers took Ramayana and joked with it; I don’t understand where they found the courage to do such a blunder?”
“Ramayana is not just a book, it is the sentiment of our nation, and they have played with our sentiments, and after spending so much they made something so bad; it is just ridiculous” added Payal.
When asked if something bad stood out in the movie, Payal said, “Raavan looked more like Batman, than Raavan, I mean he had Virat Kohli’s haircut, and he travelled by Dragon, I didn’t know we had dragons in our history.”
On the work front, Payal will soon be seen in Fire of Love Red, a musical psycho-thriller narrating the story of a famous novelist Rajveer who gets lost between fiction and reality.
The film also stars Krushna Abhishek and Kamlesh Sawant, written and directed by Ashok Tyagi, and produced by Rajeev Chaudhari, Jagannath Waghmare and Rekha Surendra Jagtap and is presented by Avantika Dattray Patil and Avantika AP Arts.
