The actor took to his social media profile and shared a note, Sooraj wrote, “Thank you to all those who have always supported and believe in me. Only I know how I have lasted though all these years of suffering and pain”
“Your unconditional love prayers and dua’s have been my only strength. I couldn’t have survived without you” added Sooraj.
The suicide case of Jiah Khan back in 2013 left the nation and the film fraternity stunned.
The death of the actress, who worked in Bollywood movies such as Nishabd and Ghajini, was directly linked to her then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi, who is the son of actor pair Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, and hails from an influential family.
Sooraj Pancholi was even arrested in the case, but later made bail. Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan, who is fighting the case, believes her daughter to murdered and it wasn’t a suicide, and blame Pancholi for it.
CBI special court ruled out any foul play, and gave a clean chit to Sooraj, yesterday.
