President El-Sisi Speaks with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke over the phone with President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Spokesman of the Presidency, Counselor Ahmad Fahmy, said the two Presidents exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr, asking Allah Almighty to grant the two countries and their peoples progress and stability, and the Arab and Islamic nations peace and security.

President El-Sisi and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also discussed the two countries’ relentless efforts to calm down the situation in Sudan, halt the escalation, return to dialogue and restore the political trajectory, in light of Egypt and the UAE’s support for the people of Sudan in their endeavors to achieve their aspirations for reinforcing security, stability and development in their country.
