Vice President (VP) reiterates Iran’s government view to developing ties with Africa

Vice President for Executive Affairs Mohsen Mansouri said that the view of the 13th government and President Ebrahim Raisi personally is to expand relations with African countries.

Mansouri made the remarks in a meeting Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari which was held on the sidelines of the Fifth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5), in Doha, Qatar.

Iran and Nigeria can have useful and constructive cooperation, he said.

Meanwhile, Buhari expressed hope for developing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
