Egypt: President El-Sisi Speaks with the President of the Republic of Türkiye

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke over the phone with President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said President El-Sisi extended his condolences and sympathies over the victims of the devastating earthquake that caused thousands of deaths and injuries. He reiterated Egypt's solidarity with the brotherly Turkish people, offering assistance and humanitarian aid to overcome the effects of this disaster.

President of the Republic of Türkiye, Erdoğan, expressed gratitude to President El-Sisi for these good feelings, noting that they demonstrate the profound historical bonds the brotherly Egyptian and Turkish peoples share.
