Meera Deshmukh In Drishyam, Has Been Most Difficult Character For Me Says Tabu

Mumbai, 18th October 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Tabu, who is known for tackling with complex and difficult roles for with ease, says she role of Meera Deshmukh in Drishyam franchise has been the most challenging role she has ever performed.

Tabu was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Drishyam promotion here in Mumbai.

Talking about her role in the movie and its conflicted morality, Tabu said, “It was a difficult role for me, because all these emotions are complicated, and there are a lot of issues in her, she needs to be true to her profession, so sense of being righteous is there, but what she is feeling is entirely something else and she is feeling it, everyone is human in film and feeling the same emotion, and despite knowing what is right and wrong, you just cannot seems to get past your feelings. So that was the struggle being Meera Deshmukh in Drishyam”

“It is one of my most difficult roles on-screen, and one of the most difficult characters I have ever played” added Tabu.

Drishyam 2 is helmed by Abhishek Pathak, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. It is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name and the sequel to Drishyam (2015). It is scheduled for theatrical release on 18 November 2022.

Apart from Drishyam 2, actor Tabu is also busy with Kuttey, Khufiya and Bholaa.
