Siddhanth Kapoor Is Released On Bail

Mumbai, 14th June 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Shakti Kapoor’s son who was detained in drug bust case has made bail, actor Siddhanth Kapoor has been released on bail and soon he will be home.

Shraddha Kapoor's brother Siddhanth Kapoor was detained by Bangalore police after a raid. He was found positive when tested for drugs. But now he been released on station bail.

Apart from Siddhanth, the other four people who were detained have also been released on station bail.

Siddhanth Kapoor and the four others will have to further appear before the Police as and when called, said Bheema Shankar Gulled, DCP East Bengaluru.

Siddhanth Kapoor was detained by Bengaluru Police earlier in the day for allegedly consuming drugs at a party in the city on Sunday night.

Samples of people suspected of having consumed drugs were sent for medical tests and Siddhanth's sample was among six that turned positive. Police said it was unclear whether they had consumed drugs at the hotel or had come to the party after taking drugs outside.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the actor has been caught at rave parties. Back in 2008, it was reported that Siddhanth was among 240 people detained after the police raided a rave party in Mumbai.

Siddhanth Kapoor started his career by working as an assistant director in various films such as Bhool Bhulaiya, Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke and Dhol.

Last, Siddhanth was seen in Chehre, directed by Rumy Jafery, also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D'Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Alexx O'Nell, Samir Soni, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav.
